Life was enough for you, you finally gave up

and we had to let you go, this situation had to stop

Your eyes were telling us that it was oke to set you free

This was so painful for us to see

Past year has been very difficult for you

To struggle and go further was sometimes a battle too

We always did all our best for you and did everything we could

and suddenly the day came and we did also what we should

You were our dearest friend and one of a kind

Early on that morning when I stood up you came to great me as always

Not knowing that it would be for the last time

As always I started to prepare your food

I called your name but you did not come

I called again but you were not there

I went outside to look for you but ...

I found you and you were already gone

With pain in our harts we had to say goodbye to you

Too early because you still were so full of vitality and such an active girl

Therefor we had to set you free and you were no longer able to stay around us

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
